Hmmmm...I like to socialize when things are cooking, and am certainly not shy, but it is mostly not worth my time, and I spend most of my time with me wife and son, or alone. Can't say if I am introverted, extroverted, or just controverted<VBG>....

I am probably an introvert for the reasons you say, though at times I can appear quite the extrovert.
