ONSL may, in fact, *have* figured out a good strategy.

It's becoming a "front end" for wholesale distributors (now, Tech Data; in the future, manufacturers as well?), which protects these distributors from off-price damage and channel conflicts while giving them the power to move product.

ONSL's Kaplan can pull it off if he makes shrewd deals and puts ONSL's loyal customer base to work. He's made some mistakes, but who hasn't?

The synergy between PCLN and VERT is the application of PCLN's model to the B2B marketplace. Think this end of the business is truly vast and can really put PCLN on steroids. For example, why can't the PCLN model be used to sell motor freight capacity? How about warehouse space? You get the idea...

As to the NAPM data, this is what I'm referring to. Who says you can't have some economic growth sans inflation if you have increasing productivity? Think that's exactly where we are.

Meanwhile the euro drifts downward toward parity with the dollar. If Europe can't raise rates to support its currency (and it definitely can't), should we raise rates and destroy it altogether? Nah.
