well in holland, cable is much more standard than ADSL

in fact, there isnt one "non-test" ADSL in the whole of holland available. All cable or 64k isdn. We got this provider, called a2000, and it gives good speeds and ping times for games, 200kb/sec etc.

But the adsl I saw, a test version, 1000 people in amsterdam, it was damn good....much much more constant than cable. And cost less, and no cable modem required, ...cable modems tend to have packetloss when it gets really crowded in your neighbourhoud.
