SFTBF is a stock symbol you can use to obtain a stock price quote at the Bloomberg.com site. Currently they show $116. Softbank is not traded in the US Market (via ADRs or any other way) and is available in Tokyo as 9984. I buy Softbank through Schwab and you have to call their International Desk at: 1-800-992-4685 to get bid and asked type quotes and to put in a buy or sell order. I believe that Schwab actually executes Japan orders through Merrill Lynch. Apparently there is somewhat of an American Market, but the spread is quite large so I generally have them execute overnight in Tokyo to try to get a better price. Usually, only a round lot order will be accepted so you have to buy 100 shares at a crack. Research Softbank on the various Search engines and you will find a lot of stuff. Softbank has a very agressive PR machine. Read the back posts here and on Raging Bull and Motley Fool. Good Luck.
