It is unsubstantiated and not reflective of the economic realities of that region's history. Can someone please post that NYT article from 1987 again one more time again? It is substantiated that the Kosovars were "bullying" the Serbs out of Kosovo for years... What is ironic here is that Rugova's "moderate" ways would have won in another 10-20 years simply due to incredible demographic factors in favor of the Kosovars...Instead Nato starts bombing and the Serbs get a chance to permanently alter the ethnic makeup of Kosovo...Now the Kosovars can only dream about returning back to Kosovo...Sad but fact.
