DaveMG: Dont forget the lag time introduced by last year's economic tremors. Planning for system upgrades and the resultant contract awards take time. Once scared off their schedules, many times it is a matter of starting all over again. It might cause you concern, but I would think this slow period could be expected to last until the fall. The cool world economy took the momentum out of CDMA build-out announcements, it will take a couple more months for things to pick back up.

You are a tough sell Dave!

How about:

-- AirTouch, Nortel Networks Sign US$500 Million Contract for Wireless Equipment (02/03/99)
-- Frontier Cellular Plans Advanced Features, Network Expansion Under New Contract With Lucent Technologies (02/02/99) ($70 million)
-- PVT Wireless LP to Build cdmaOne1900 MHz Network in New Mexico Using Nortel Networks' Switching, Cell Site Equipment (02/18/99)
-- Lucent Completes US$18mn Telcel CDMA Upgrade (02/16/99)
-- NEC DO BRASIL is deploying 2 million CDMA cellular digital lines in Brazil (01/26/99)
-- Brazil's Telesp Celular Signs Contracts For US$340 Million With Lucent Technologies (01/05/99)
-- Israel's Pele-Phone Announces Nationwide Launch of Motorola Digital Wireless Network (01/04/99) $260 million contract

How far back do I need to go? Appears to be a steady stream of contracts, upgrades, expansions.
