Title Director, Trading Operations Location San Francisco, CA 94101, USA Description RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for 30 to 40 individuals, including 3 to 4 managers or team leaders in Trading Operations. Primary responsibility is to ensure timely and accurate processing of equity trades, support systems implementation, interface with exchange/Mayer and Schweitzer, develop staff, reconcile trade exemptions, interface with Retail Field including identifying improvement opportunities, ensure regulatory compliance, participate in industry initiatives, develop management reporting tools, and continuously improve the process while minimizing the risk. QUALIFICATIONS: College degree, 3 to 5 years operations management in more than one technical area, basic PC experience, workflow analysis skills, PC application and systems development, Series 7 and 63. Prefer Series 8 and 24. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, excellent customer service skills, and experience in Streetside reconciliation. Flexible, strong communication skills, results oriented, able to develop high performing team, process oriented. Managed managers, strong organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills, proven record of handling high pressure and fast paced environment, strong understanding of Equity products, operations and market place as well as strong risk management skills.
