Gentlemen, (ALL) OT. I am loathe to be a point of debate on this or any thread. Here is a fact or two I submit for a better understanding. I am normally not so pugilistic as I was with Ian earlier. For that my sincere regrets and apology to the thread at large. Fact is, that I read Ian's posted response to my initial comment on the NEC story after just discovering and believing that I had lost 16 hours work on the computer (which has since been recovered-thanks). I cannot bring myself to amend my opinion of Ian's response to me because I do believe that it was not conducive in its tone. There is a better way to ask for further verification or support of an opinion. To further increase my irritation I had communicated with Ian quite a bit on the WDC thread trying to warn him off an investment in that company, at least at the time. My arguments have since been proven to be accurate by and large. At the time, we did so with little sense of rancor increasing my sense of surprise and anger at Ian's response more recently. That he repudiated my post on NEC in the manner he did seemed to me to be unjust reward for previous efforts. I now believe he may have forgotten or may have resented that exchange more then I realized. REGARDLESS, I should have resisted the temptation to post angrily in exchange. It never serves a purpose and I apologize to the thread for publicly engaging in this dubious immersion in my own hubris. Thank you all for your comments. They are most illuminating and thoughtful. I have already previously acknowledged that I have much less to offer here then I can glean in return. This thread has some very knowledgeable posters. So to you Demosthenes, please mark my ass down as thoroughly kicked, and please accept that my post was not intended as a membership application to your club. To all, please do get on with your observations. They are helpful. Best, Stitch
