Jens: Hearing to appoint a Receiver to take control of Firamada. The hearing of the petition for the appointment of a Receiver to take over control of Firamada is set for June 9th at 9:00 am. in Houston TX. This action has been brought by two Plaintiffs, Dick Lee and Dan Provost who represent a group of 215 Firamada shareholders. These 215 shareholders are members of FSAAA (Firamada Shareholders against Arif Adam). FSAAA was formed in late January, 1999. FSAAA's goals are to effectively remove Arif Adam as Chairman of Firamada, financially rehabilitate the company, and restore stockholder value. Cleve Powell, the attorney representing the Plaintiffs, said anyone wishing to attend the hearing may do so. However, he also said, "Please make it clear that it would be inappropriate and unethical for anyone to communicate directly with Judge Coselli".
