I think what happened is that someone posted about not being able to borrow something to short:

You are the only one that thought Anthony was starting a crusade to force brokers to let us short IPOs. Anthony was just using the first post as a convenient post to reply to when posting general information. That is how it works on SI. Not every reply to a post has to do with the original post.

Colin, That info was posted as an answer to a seminar question, he just picked the wrong post to reply to. He does that some times, just picks the end of the thread and starts posting:)
