Mike, it is my understanding that these Medinah Gold dividend shares will require someone's name be printed on the certificates. It will not be possible to have them in street name. At least that's the way I understand this right now. For good measure, I requested delivery of my dividend shares today just so I could get near the head of the line (assuming there is a line!) But you are right, things should get interesting soon. Over the next few weeks they will be counting up shares to determine who is entitled to the dividend, and if I understand this process correctly, this should settle this short position speculation once and for all. --Coz

Mike: What's your opinion on the continuing weakness in the gold market? At what point does the lower price become a real obstacle? With the world seeming to become disenchanted with holding gold reserves and selling into the open market in favor of equities, etc. what does the future hold for us? Please respond The Gipper

I do my trading through DLJdirect and hold considerable shares in MDHM but have not seen anything in the way of a dividend announcement. Does anyone else use DLJ that had any success? Any suggestions?
