Intel didn't hesitate in settling with the DOJ. Comparing Intel's case with Softie's case is irresponsible journalism. Softie denied and continues to deny doing what the DOJ accuses them of doing. Contrast that with Intel who never, ever disputed doing what the DOJ accused them of doing. Intel's belief was that the actions they took were perfectly legal. And by the way, one party doesn't settle with another party. They settle with each other. So when the author writes that Intel didn't hesitate in settling with DOJ, it should also be said that the DOJ didn't hesitate in settling with Intel. --Mike Buckley
