This is tough medicine indeed. A 1/4 pct rate hike seems now to be inevitable and, perhaps, even desireable to avert the necessity for more later. The housing report sealed the deal. Rising bond yields add to the weight of market negatives. It would be nice if Greenspan threw us some kind of bone today. We'll see what he's got to say. It's definitely gut check time. Meanwhile, we're up nearly 4 from our intraday low of 84 3/8. Light at the end of the tunnel?
