Do you have any specific information about a Y2K problem, or are you just floating vague rumors? I'm sure you could consult Wal-Mart's recent annual report for Y2K information.

What gives WMT their competitive edge against the competition is their computer system. System-wide they have the best computer tracking system in the retail business. Remember the recent lawsuit filed by them against Amazon.com. They sued them because they were hiring their systems people to learn the WALMART way of doing business. With the thin profit margins that they work on, WMT is the envy of every corporation that has to track inventory therefore, Y2K shouldn't be any concern for WMT investors IMO.
