LOL) Ferocious solar storm to herald millennium Astronomers fear widespread disruptions > Yes, Jeff, these are real concerns and intelligent and prudent preparation is called for(the last solar storm I lived through was indeed fierce) I am laying in an extra flashlight, back up batteries, a whole bunch of tapered dinner candles in pastels, and I am sending out all my holiday invitations early. Also, I am advising all family, friends, acquaintances, and associates to send me my Christmas presents early to avoid delivery delays or possible loss en route.
