M2: Yes they are tough to nail. You can't be certain when the correction is over, but you can be certain when it's not.

Follow-through days are among the most reliable indicators of a fresh uptrend. In fact no major uptrend has occurred without one. But they can send false signals.

That fact is of no small value when deciding on when to act on those big plans you're making.
