>>i have to disagree with you on this scott. i can only speak from my own exp., but i like buying things from my comp., especially at a dicount. you see, most of what i buy, i already know exactly what i want...i.e. books, sunglasses, car, etc,,, even if i've already been to a dozen stores....i like to decide at home.....and i for one hate to shop in malls, etc. i get no vicarious thrill shopping in public....just another persp. jds<<

I dont see how this is a disagreement. I am not saying that all older folks are "social shoppers"... just a larger percent. There are plenty of folks out there like you. My father for example purchases everything from the net. Before e-commerce for my mother it was like dragging a child to the dentist. With the internet, there is no pressure and no time limits. I agree with you!

HELLO ALL,
Is there any of us that would go to a store and look at furniture and go home to order the very same item/s from HHD and save maybe a few hundred dollars ?
Those who want the thrill and excitement of a shopping experience can still have their cake and ..........SAVE !
