Actually, I don't think Y2K is a worry at all for EMC, nor do most buy side investors. In fact, the argument has been rationally made that Y2K has been a benefit for EMC, as more people beef up storage systems "just in case."

A far greater worry for EMC is a post Y2K slow down. Companies that have been beefing up their systems last year and for 1H 99 most probably won't be needing EMC for at the 1H 2000.
