TMSR mentioned in the Red Herring!! The July 1999 issue, page 140, written by the pres of Cannell Capital Management: "In my view, the greatest investment opportunity today is in pairing long positions in strong 'franchise' Internet companies . . . with the short sale of weak pubescent companies. These so-called concept enterprises generally have untried management teams, thin balance sheets, toxic convertible financing, unknown auditors, whiffy promotion, and hokey products.
