Remember that these are not the actual shares of Medinah Gold in your accounts. It is an accounting procedure. The brokerage houses will have to turn in a list of all bona fide share holders to the TA. Then the numbers will have to be squared up before any shares can be distributed. It is this squaring up process that will settle the issue once and for all about the short position. I'm guessing 10 days or a couple of weeks since this is going on now, but Waterhouse told me that it could take a month to settle before they could send me my Medinah Gold certificates. --Coz
