Haven't tried car batteries... I take it you mean putting two electrodes in the water and giving the little fishies a electric coronary? Actually, I've never fished with a grenade, but I do seem to recall an event that I may have watched, where a pilfered 1/4 pound stick of TNT was primed with a 30 second length of time cord. The result may have been a very bountiful harvest of lake bass, enough to feed a dozen hungry campers. But I can neither confirm or deny the veracity of this event. <VBG> Regards, Ron
