These seem very similar in function to the H3D glasses, now sold as WickedVision by Metabyte, makers of the Wicked3D Voodoo2 card. wicked3d.com I'd be very interested to see a comparison of the 2, since I own the H3D/WickedVision glasses already. FYI: I haven't used them in a long time.

Any updates on real 3d displays ala holographic displays?

PS: There's no reason for 3dfx to bother with 3D glasses since they have such a limited market. That's not to say they shouldn't provide some assistance to a 3rd party like H3D was. I just see no reason for 3dfx to market them.
