"believe "directpc"...the "you get it free pc for 36 months if you subscribe to our internet service" company that was to be the end of pay pc's has yet to deliver a single unit in the 8 weeks since it kicked off it's promotion...also hear they don't return phone calls... "

Probably just a ploy to get a new mailing list. Close the business, keep the list, start a new one. Heard they got something like 10 million responses or maybe more.

Hi Edamo,
The offer I got was a FREE CPQ computer with FREE Internet service forever. The offer I got was a BETA testing so would not have to pay a thing. Only had to guarantee we would use it for 10 hours a month. Hell, I use it 10 hours a day between my husband, son and little old me.
It didn't cost a thing and we only had 2 days to make up our mind so I went for it. I will let you know when I get it.
