RE: Brian Hook's destination.

If it's a hardware company, I'd say 3dfx or nVidia, aiding in developing new 3D standards and features for the latest hardware.

If it's a software company, I'd say it has to do with Electronic Arts. Both Blizzard and Origin do some REALLY hot stuff, so I'd say he would get to help work on an engine for UO2 or whatever comes after U:A or StarCraft.

Man, I'd love to work at Id - great bunch of guys, and rare at that.
