I would imagine that Sony choosing DRDRAM for their upcoming killer PS2 console is verification of DRDRAM graphics capabilities. Also remember, Sony CEO called DDR SDRAM "unstable". That's in the press release, not idle gossip or opinion...

Sounds a lot like the architecture SGI is using in their X-86 workstations. Last time I checked, they were having lots of problems.

Any confirmations or denials out there?
