Very interesting article, Len. There are so many examples in our society of not doing more with less. These example range all the way from buying huge SUVs (urban Titanic vehicles) to the increased amount of trash (garbage) each individual produces that has to be incinerated or buried in a landfill. BTW, read about how burying anthrax in Russia, during cold war years when germ warfare was thought to be a feasible weapon in a country's arsenal, presents a modern day danger. The anthrax is resurfacing and may present a very real hazard. We can't screw mother nature; when we do, it produces disastrous results.
