Both Niles and Kumar gave strong "sell" signals on 5/19 the day after earnings by telling the world they wouldn't hold Dell at 40-44, but would be buyers again around the 30 mark. Unfortunately for me I only listened with 2/3 of my brain, and so only sold 2/3 of my DELL holding. Next time you can bet I'll give them 100% notice.

Whether they're right or wrong about Dell's future near term or longer term business is irrelevant, likewise irrelevant is whether they have an "agenda" for their big institutional clients. The fact is, like Kurlak at one time with INTC, they can move the stock, so we'd better all at least listen.
