( MMI info Below this) Look at these great numbers, we almost have a chance to BEAT a Carlin Trend GUY in the low gold numbers and they talk about SOURCE ROCK HISTORY NUMBERS by Newmont at .75 OPT AU...hummne! LOW GOLDS- 0.017/0.026/ 0.032 OPT AU lows- no ...0.07 PDs like we have at Maxam: Mirandor Exploration Inc - Brex and Mirandor release drilling results from Railroad project Mirandor Exploration Inc MIQ Shares issued 18,984,536 1999-06-02 close $0.18 Thursday Jun 3 1999 See Brex Exploration Inc (BX) News Release Mr. Andrew McQuire and Mr. Gilles Laverdiere reports Further results have been received from the Kinross 1998 work program on the Railroad project in Nevada. Work carried out in the northeastern portion of the project returned significant results and new targets for the 1999 program. This portion of the project includes the POD and Jasperoid zones. In the POD zone, additional results are available. Hole K98-37, which was previously announced in December, 1998, and which returned 105 feet of 0.121 ounce per ton from 265 to 370 feet, also contains the following interval: Hole Thickness(ft) Depth(ft) Oz/ton Au K98-37 35 285-320 0.267 Incl. 10 290-300 0.545 Other results from drilling in POD returned: K98-19 30 75-105 0.017 K98-42 35 305-340 0.032 K98-53 35 255-290 0.026 All assaying was carried out by Chemex Labs using the fire assay method. The results show the persistence and continuation of the mineralization at the POD. The geologic setting and host rocks are largely similar to those at the nearby Rain deposit where Newmont produced more than one million ounces of gold from an open pit and is currently developing an underground resource for production. A sooty carbonaceous zone that yields grades of up to 0.75 ounce per ton Au over 10 to 20 feet occurs in the footwall of the POD feeder structure. Located approximately 1,000 feet west of the POD, the East Jasperoid zone is a linear 1,000 foot wide by 2,000 foot north-trending feature. The area takes its name from a small Carlin-type gold deposit (40,000 ounces resource) that occurs here (Wesmont, 1994). Drilling here returned the following: Hole Thickness(ft) Depth(ft) Oz/ton Au K98-30* 65 90-155 0.053 K98-31 25 90-115 0.020 K98-32 35 205-240 0.035 Includes 5 0.115 Exploration Brex shares the POD and East Jasperoid zones, which are part of the Railroad project, with Exploration Mirandor Inc. on an equal basis. Kinross and Mirandor have an agreement whereby Kinross can earn a 55 per cent interest in the Railroad project by expending $7-million (U.S.), and an additional 10 per cent by expending a further $5-million (U.S.) toward a positive feasibility study. The agreement calls for a minimum expenditure of $1.5-million (U.S.) in 1999. The POD project, consisting of approximately 1.2 square miles, is centred on the southern end of the Carlin trend, and lies at the intersection of the NW-SE Carlin trend and the N-S Pinon anticline structure. It is located within a Carlin erosional window, exposing at surface favourable lower plate sedimentary rocks. Kinross has indicated to the companies that the 1999 drill season will begin as soon as field conditions permit. MMI D. This is a new leachant developed specifically for diamond exploration. We have a new case study from the Kimberley Region, Western Australia, now up on the site. MMI F. This new leachant is used to detect Pathfinders. We have added three new case studies. The first one is from the San Nicolas Base Metal Project in Zacetecas, Mexico. The second one is from the Puolalaki Project in Sweden and the third one is the Kimberley Diamond case study. We have added several new press releases, so revisit that section. This new material can be found under the heading "Latest News and Developments" on the opening page of the "Members Only" section of the site.
