>>>"ETrade paid an extraordinary amount of money for Telebank," says Mr. Marks. ETrade bid $1.8 billion in stock for a company that reported $41.7 million in revenue for the quarter ending March 31, 1999. "It's a questionable decision. There's not a lot of value there."

Well I'm a confessed Idiot...but I have one counter question to his entire thesis. Who on this Planet can compete with them and the skinny model they bring to this market? NetB@nk comes to mind and nobody else. All them banks are over-priced in what they charge and pay...including their stock prices. "There's not a lot of value there."...moron...name one Bank in the Top 100 that could compete with them on interest rates? What is that worth?

Called Paradigm Time....Phsssssssssst!
