Here I am in Taiwan watching Morris (president of TSM) touting his company everyday. TSM jumps 3 NT$ today. TSM rose in an otherwise negative US tech environment, imo, the rise can be attributed to Morris' upbeat remarks on his company and the future of "fabless manufacturing" As far as how much id hype and how much is real, we investors must do our own dd, I personally think that the dram price will have a significant psychological impact on the whole semi sector (PLD, ASIC, etc) I just don't see much more upside on the whole semi and semi equip sector.
