Vendit,

I am relatively new to TA and enjoyed your postings.
Looking at AOL chart, I noticed a symmetric triangle, which recently became a descending one. From a pattern point of view is this what you see or you are observing another pattern?

My limited knowledge tells me $86.25 as the next support level and not anything in 90s.

I believe the reaction to the increase is worse then the actual increase. I'm sure the Fed. knows the above. What if Mr.. Greenspam told us all that? Can you imagine the market reaction? <ggg>

What I don't understand is why all this bloodletting and panic selling over interest rate hikes...Seems like there has been more damage done over the "idea" of a hike than would have been done by the actual hike! So now we have to suffer through more weeks of disaster until the Feds do or do not raise the darn blasted Interest rates. And if they DO raise it...well there won't be much left of our portfolios to be siphoned away by this hurricane of selling. And after another month or two...everyone will see how cheap all these stocks are and buy right back in! And this whole bloody scenario will repeat itself over the coming months and years!
