OJ ... somewhat OT given the threads name. Re CMGI ... you reiterated something that Steve Harmon said today. What I don't see with this one is the big winners in the current stable. Isn't the value of their asset base diminishing as more internut IPO's come to market and equalise the supply/demand factor that has played such a part in the valuations ??. Off hand, I seem to remember they have 6 or 7 potential IPO's this year ... but I don't remember anything stunning ... and 3 or 4 that looked extremely mediocre. I'd appreciate your thoughts ......

Thanks & regards

Stephen

>>.now i won the bet with BB on ATHM...whew!!! it was nip & tuck...<<<<

another popular delusion jerry berry -g-

oil drillers had pizazz, jazz and smooze in the goldilocks era of 1997 (as did semi's)

the close on 5/21 was 130 when i made the bet on 5/23 Sunday for a one month turn on 6/23, todays close $114 . . .

as of the close today your in the red and on the defense and your X's and O's are in disarray -=-g

crowing for a nutz bottom?, which i will give in to that possibility, every time these things look like they are going to fall off the edge they reverse up. I was more in tune for that on March 3rd, this time i'm not so sure they won't celebrate the anniversary of the Iomega kersplat -g-

Alright Simpson, (OJ<g>)

You're gonna get these bears all stirred up over here. I haven't seen anything positive in the DOT or CMGI (yet). They're just pausing before they really fall through the floor.<HEHEHEHE>

Semi-equips is where everybody ought to be (long, of course).

It's friggin' silly that the direction of this market is decided by the jibberish of a 70 year old man and the tines of an idiot pitchfork that Andrew must have left somewhere!!!<gggggggg>

I've gotta stay cautiously short through all this garbage...A lot of these stocks are going up but the big boys are still sneaking out the back door...If rates get over 6%, were toast. We need SPX 1100 to remain healthy. What the heck, I got cash and I'd sure buy THAT dip.

Stay cool...
Chris

OJ, I'm trying to figure out your Bullish market position. Lets refresh our memories regarding current P & F indicators.

Percent of 10 - BAD

HI/LO - BAD

Option Index - BAD

Over the Counter Index - BAD

Dow Jones Bond Average -VERY BAD

NYSE Bullish Percentage - STILL POSITIVE? (results available tomorrow night)

Now OJ, you can't be basing your prediction on those indicators - can you?

Good luck Juice,

Jim
