500,000 dollar margin call is excessive.
$50,000 margin call.
$35,000 for hospital expenses.
$15,000 loss of wages from the time off.
The remaining $400,000 should take care of
he/her for a few years I'd think.

Hey, for $500,000 I may have one for sell too!

The gift that keeps on giving...
Perhaps the following will help. Hey there are a lot of other spare parts which are fine candidates to toss in with that kidney. This web site is set up in a nice idea packed layout to assist anyone who is willing to liberally give of themselves.

It's possible you're right. I think others must think so, and that that must be why there is so much coldness here.

But it's possible you're wrong, too. The risk to you of being wrong on this is of being awfully cruel, TLC. The risk of being wrong for me is that I've made myself look foolish. I do that all the time, just for the fun of it. It is not a risk that counts.

Just personally, it is easier for me to imagine a desperate person wanting to sell a kidney, and deciding to start advertising to that end on SI, than it is to imagine why anyone would bother to pretend to have a kidney they wanted to sell when they didn't.

I hope you're right, though.
