GST,

You've described very active technology exhibits, etc that you went to in HK, Japan, etc.... Is the mood there that things will work out and they'll come out of their slump ? Also the yen/dollar seems stable at 120 to 122 for several weeks now. Is there still threat of funds transfer from US markets to Japan ? Or are you more worried from money leaving stocks to go to bonds ? I don't see money leaving stocks unless it is attracted to something else. I think individuals/funds have raised enough cash, and I don't see them being very attracted even to 6% bond. Unless you see rates going much higher.

So far in the last few nasdaq sell-offs, we have not seen the whole market crash. Basically internet shares and high P/E stocks go down, and at the same time value stocks go up. So the money has not left the market, it is still just sloshing around.
