<what the heck is going on? <

Generally, this kind of action isn't an accident and probably means that something not very good is going on.

Well, it happened. Having bought Com21 to help me out of my depression just made it worse. I went into negative equity today due to margin and CMTO's and AOL's recent declines and I was taken out by the broker. Completely wiped out. Watch the market turn around tomorrow!!!

Margin can burn you. Be careful. You probably won't hear from me for a while.

Best of luck, Dennis

Merrill has been on the offer nearly all day with 5 & 10K blocks, not playing games at all, they're moving a position for a fund that probably bought a half the current price. Fund redemptions are rising, more people choose to manage their own investments, may not have a choice but to sell off profitable positions in order to raise cash.

Their traders are just moving shares, not much of an attempt to sell into strength, not the pattern of a short, just doing their job.

I'm continuing to buy for the long-term account, this company is solid.
