Another Idiotic European Idea Many Europeans don't pay for Internet Access because the phone company get's kick backs for keeping people online and on the phone so long. European phones systems are in desperate need of new infrustructure building, and all that money is going back into plant and equipment, not shareholders profits. Many European countries have phone systems that can't even support more than 19.2 baud rate data transfers. There's a bigger picture here, so any crude attempt at boycott will be ignored by governments and telecommunications industry. All that will happen Sunday, is a lot of non-europeans will be able to enjoy european internet content a hell of a lot faster that day...
