Good Morning Everyone,

Today's story is a little different, It is said to be a true story and one to be thought about.........

I thought you'd enjoy this.

An article in National Geographic several years ago provided a
penetrating picture of God's wings... After a forest fire in
Yellowstone National Park, forest rangers began their trek up a
mountain to assess the inferno's damage. One ranger found a
bird literally petrified in ashes, perched statuesquely on the
ground at the base of a tree.

Somewhat sickened by the eerie sight, he knocked over the bird
with a stick. When he struck it, three tiny chicks scurried from under
their dead mother's wings. The loving mother, keenly aware of
impending disaster, had carried her offspring to the base of the tree
and had gathered them under her wings, instinctively knowing that
the toxic smoke would rise.

She could have flown to safety but had refused to abandon her babies.
When the blaze had arrived and the heat had scorched her small body,
the mother had remained steadfast.

Because she had been willing to die, those under the cover of her
wings would live...

Have a great day !!!!!!!

wb

E!

How is the trip going? Everyone here on DGIV seems to be meeting you at airports, talking to you on the phone, getting private mail or email, sending semiphore to you or something, except me.

However, I think I am receiving ESP from you.

My response to your thoughts is as follows:

I'm glad to receive the messages about your good time on Mt. Pilatus today. I'm sorry to hear about R's little accident on the tram. I agree, the view over Luzern is beautiful from up there. It reminded me of Lake Tahoe also. The hot cocoa is good up there.

And now for the summary you were asking about.

Howard C is about to set things straight with JC. Everyone misses you a lot. The thread is pretty quiet now. You need to check in more often if possible. The astronauts have landed back at the KSC without any problems.

Well, have a great time, and check back in with me later, on the same wavelength.

Your bud,

Jack
