In the opinion of the oldest and largest Christian organization, they were. There are lots of more recent examples: David Koresh, Jim Jones, Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Bakker,.... Christians disown these people just as soon as the bad headlines roll in. And by the way, do you intend to come to Vidrine's defense? I would strongly advise you study his posts first.
