Doug: I recall you bringing up that matter a few times. That was a big charge they took, but it remains unclear what it relates to. They're calling it "continuous improvement initiatives". That sounds like one of those euphemisms like "collateral damage". Of course, now were left wondering whether there are more skeletons in the closet or not, whether there will be more restructuring costs this fiscal year. Management is very quiet on this.

Interesting to read in the Globe & Mail this morning a comment from Tundra Semiconductor CEO Adam Chowaniec saying that his company has nothing to do with Newbridge anymore. He said the following, "The affiliation thing is really part of the past. In business terms, we're off doing our own thing."

Seems nobody wants to be associated with Newbridge these days. The company is being treated by people as though it were a leper.
