HR: Splits are neither dilutive nor accretive as they just divide the same piece of pie into more pieces they don't enlarge the pie. New issues do have an accretive effect to those who bought below the the new issue price and a dilutive effect to those that bought in above the new issue price. At its present rate of decline AOL is headed for 67 faster than 140. I used to own AOL but this latest round of high bandwidth positioning and AOL's dependence on ma bell for ADSL connection guarantees that they willbe late in enetering the field unless AOL can build a fire under ma bell and get them moving on ADSL.
