No problem...I reason that it makes sense that someone was in my back yard last night, although I am not sure. I go outside, and lo! there are smudged foot prints in my back yard. There is no other evidence then the smudged foot prints....You are saying that I have no right to take the existence of corroboration of a reasonable hypothesis as evidence that the hypothesis is correct, because it is the only evidence...Okay...You could argue alternative explanations, and we could weigh the various probabilities, but that is about your only recourse...
