Thanks for the info on Budget, BAM. My only concern with PCLN protecting its patents is that it could ensnare the company in a lot of expensive legal battles that divert the company's focus from its real mission: providing consumers with a first rate shopping experience. Comments?

Actually, Tom and the coach should go because they'll want to point out how Budget is abusing the PCLN patent with impunity.

BAM, PCLN's patent will be challenged and invalidated in court, IMO. I agree that it'll get publicity only the negative publicity will hurt the company. Soon, we'll hear frequent PRs updating on its record court appearances, the way it promoted the x-k tickets sales in a single day. Speaking of that, did you notice that PCLN had 5000 tickets day sales, then 6000 tickets, then 7000 tickets within a period of 2 weeks around the time analysts initiate coverage. It has been almost a month and no 8000 tickets day? Hmmm, what happened? Other travel agencies are getting more bookings for summer travel.

Regards,

Tom
