sure Greg, nonetheless Qcom's correlator filter process is central to it's design greg. NOK's announcement today makes Q's ASICs more useable, but still Q must alter processes for 3g, no small feat. all 3G designs are built on matched filter processes for high speed data transfer. correlator filter is inferior; they can kiss all they want but if their technology in the end is inferior, the amount of IPR allocated to Q in 3g becomes less.

>all wireless internet roads go through QCOM..

also, all wireless internet roads need chips that send that
'wireless' signal, in the last week I've sold all my dell
and put it into RFMD and TQNT, two competitors in selling
these chips to Nokia, Ericsson, Qcom, etc. Lots of
barriers to entry, GaS chips are tough to make, and crucial.

I think wireless phones/gadgets will grow in popularity at
a faster rate than PCs over the next 5 years.

Gregory, RE: I am adding to QCOM on every dip even today I'm going to add, it will over take AOL as my number one investment, all wireless internet roads go through QCOM..

Actually, the wireless internet roads barely see QCOM. Only the very slow mobile wireless technology involves QCOM. When you look at high speed wireless internet access, QCOM isn't involved at all. If you're really interested in this sector, here's a good place to learn more:
