As I told you, we have (more than one) African German Oprahs.
(You should have read my letter.)

Also, when you watch the German soccer league, you will see players from any continent or race (I use to circumvene this word, for obvious reasons). You are right for the National soccer team, though. But you wouldn't be right when you believe that most Germans wouldn't like to have those French, British or Dutch or any nationality players in the German national football team.
The same degree of truth applies to your notice on the citizenship of ethnic Turks. You are right to assume that the process of getting the german citizenship is relying too much on the nationality/citizenship of the candidate's parents, and not so much on the living or birth place (both schemes would be better than the current one). You should notice, however, that is possible to become a German citizen for all Turks, and already since long. Only it is required from any new german citizen to lay down the foreign citizenship he or she had before. The current discussion is to allow people born here or living here since several years to have TWO citizenships at one time. This is wanted by the Turkish government and by many Turks here also. It didn't help in this process, though, that leading politicians of a foreign country with a questionable situation on human rights promised to interfere in german politics (very much apart from integration politics) by way of useing their influence in future national turkish parties in germany.
Anyway it seems to be more difficult to be awarded with the Turkish citizenship when you are a German living in Istanbul.

Please notice, I didn't want to shoot anyone with words, so also I couldn't shoot myself into my own foot.

Also I am less convinced of the German society than you must suspect from my previous letter. But it was definitely wrong when you tried to convince people with no kowledge of our situation that europeans/germans have no access to ethnical/cultural diversity whatsoever. To the contrary, I would say, this diversity is maybe one of the strongest driving factors of today's media situation inside Germany.

By the way, the pop group SÜRPRIZ, representing Germany in the European song contest was a Turkish-German group. I hope the process will go on in this way, so one day the notion of nations should be impossible.

Have fun in finding out more subtleties to your theory, MNI.
