I remember when UBS and GOldman said ORCL would miss a few quarters ago - they hit and popped up....

I don't see why you think that they are necessarily wrong. The company's management talked the estimates down following the recent analysts day. They and other analysts acknowledge that the company is very well positioned for the post-Y2K world, but it's in transition and the transition is proving challenging. If the company reports more than 30 cents next week, I'll be happy.
