Tony, Amy, its clear to me that the Nortel event back a few weeks where they got John Roth (their CEO), Lew Platt (HP), Bill Gates (Galactisoft) and Craig Barrett (my hero - in case he reads these boards someday) together on stage to announce their movement toward the horizontal industry model for telecommunications was not broadly picked up in the conciousness of this thread.

By the way, they announced and demoed a new PBX product line which used HP servers running on IA processors as thier evidence of commitment.

You really should go to a Nortel event to see their commitment to going to this new model.

So, yes, we fancy ourselves as a neutral supplier of building blocks at any level of integration requested by the customer. We're engaged in similar activites with a number of Telecom heavyweights.
