Interesting job position at GMGC GMGC is apparently targeting Portico for employees of major companies as a productivity tool. ob Title: Sales Executive Job Location: SUNNYVALE, CA Responsibilities: This individual contributor position will work with targeted major accounts and channel partners to establish business and tactical plans for signing up Portico users. You will work with senior executives at major accounts, channel partners and General Magic to establish creative and effective methods of distributing the Portico Virtual Executive Assistant service to end user subscribers. Your main focus will be on establishing partnerships with those whom General Magic has identified as the most synergistic for us to pursue. This includes, but is not limited to, identifying potential customers, penetrating the hierarchy of the company, demonstrating Portico and General Magic's technology, negotiating and securing agreements for the service. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience negotiating agreements, establishing goals and objectives, and implementing creative program that will motivate our partners to overachieve Portico subscriber goals. Experience working with major accounts and the multi-user arena is required. You must have strong direct sales experience, and be able to manage the process from cold calling to closing the deal. You must have the ability to multitask and articulate the General Magic/Portico story. Strong presentation skills and excellent writing skills (in particular proposal writing) are required. Familiarity with internet protocols, telephony and telephone switching is a plus. This position will be based out of the Sunnyvale, California headquarters.
