Yesterday Henry B. Issued an accumulate for amzn saying it will experience weakness into August. They do like the bonds though. They are in the Merril model convertible portfolio.

Forgive me for my ignorance of the English language, but what does "accumulate" mean...?

That is, without buying it.

Does that mean, "accumulate, [if your rich uncle dies and the inheritance includes that particular stock]"

or...

"accumulates" means....

Not sell, just let them "accumulate, [dust, as other investments perform better, but never mind that]".

I am willing to venture that "accumulate" means, (the analyst speaking):

Go buy this rubbish, while I figure what to do, but just in case in tanks, I have enough _______________ (fill the blank) to unload what I have.
