This is from the Market Gems Thread:

From Briefing.com
This reiterates Jenna's advice on watching the stocks that stay strong during a downturn - they are usually the first to bounce back.

General Commentary:
For the second time in a matter of days, techs staged a strong late day rally after getting hit hard in the morning... Briefing.com contends that this is a very positive sign... Especially when you take into account fact that volume on upticks has exceeded volume on downticks... Traders remain cautious given rate backdrop, but as we have noted on numerous occasions over past few weeks, rise in rates only a temporary problem... Once focus shifts back to earnings, techs should stage another impressive rally as sector expected to report best quarter in years... And with Yahoo!'s (YHOO 142 1/2 +4 5/16)earnings about one month away, the transition from rates to earnings (as key directional force) is just around the corner... Briefing.com maintains that now is a good time to position your portfolio for the next upleg... In doing so avoid the trap of buying the most beaten down of stocks as the big losers typically underperform those stocks which exhibited decent relative strength during the correction... Among the stocks poised to lead the rebound are Cisco (CSCO 110 1/8 +3 1/16), Lucent (LU 58 5/8 +2 5/8), Vitesse (VTSS 57 1/4 +1/4), Exodus (EXDS 77 1/2 +7/8), America Online (AOL 110 3/8 -2 7/8), Microsoft (MSFT 78 7/16 -1/16), Nortel Networks (NT 74 15/16 -1/16) and MCI/Worldcom (WCOM 85 3/8 +1 1/8)...

I was going to join this contest but now it looks like.
SI is getting like the "free" boards at YAHOO.com.
sigh, Maria, Amanada, sigh.
The smartest interviewer is Sue.
I'll guess anyway ($112.75)I don't think enough people are "getting" it yet. Rally starts when Yahoo reports.

Hector, my guess on the closing price today is 109 3/8. (Are bears allowed to play?)

But if it is ok I prefer a date with Terry Keenan..:))
