Marfitech Ltd. Announces Distance Learning Contract
With Costa Rican Government

MONTREAL, CANADA -- (INTERNET WIRE) -- 06/11/99 -- Marfitech Ltd., which has
recently signed a letter of intent with Triden Telecom Inc. (OTCBB: TRIT), announced
to day the signing of a distance learning contract with the Costa Rican government.

Marc Bouchard, v-p of Marfitech Ltd., announced the contract which has been signed
for some time now. The total value of the contract is still undetermined, but preliminary
estimates put it at $1,200,000.00. Mr. Bouchard stated :" This contract will put us on
the short list for a major Inter-American Development Bank project, which will be
awarded through the Costa Rican government sometime in the near future. The value
of the IADB project should exceed $30,000,000.00. This puts Marfitech in a strong
position to become a major force in the global distance learning industry, as well as
solidifying our other ventures".

Marfitech has recently entered into a letter of intent to merge with Triden Telecom, an
OTCBB listed company (TRIT).
